Secret of a Yogi : Creating at your best

Everyone has heard of being in the moment to live fully. But how can one accomplish this when one's mind is going 100 miles an hour and can't stop thinking about sometimes insignificant stuff?

Well you can't.

At least not with a mind that active.

Meditation is the way of the East to slow the mind down and maybe to attain a complete thoughtless state. This state of consciousness is rare and once attained none of the Yogishwars or Mystics are interested to talk about it. Because once there, it is complete bliss, all knowing, all love, and all power all bundled up into one.
The world and what it has to offer is not that interesting anymore and nothing seems to catch one's attention.

At that state all creation is possible and the creative power is endless with possibilities. There is no need to look in a book to know what the next step to take is because one can see it, and everything is at one's fingertip.

Doesn't that sound glorious?

Well, it is not a fairytale and it is truly what we as humans are here to accomplish down the line once we start losing interest in our lives the way it is and we know deep down that there has to be something else more fulfilling than material accumulation, emotional extravaganza, or intellectual pontification.

If you are ready to increase your level of happiness, your level of awareness, your level of creativity, your detachment to difficult situations and rise above life's challenges you need to start turning inward.

One has to slow down the thinking process first and/or redirect the mind to a subject of interest where one will think about this subject exclusively, excluding any other types of thoughts.
We have all experienced it at one point or another where it made us feel so great afterward.

If you watch your favorite sport or better yet when you are practicing yoga your thoughts are most likely funneled in towards what you are doing and rarely wandering off although it does happen.

After class, if we were very intensely focused we feel refreshed, renewed, our mind seems to be new and has new ideas, operates at a much higher level of creativity, and everything seems much better.

We have at that time spent a little time not completely thoughtless although you could have, but more importantly we were in a unified state with our thought focused on one subject.

This is a form of contemplation where we can start elevating our energies and operate at a higher vibration. We are suddenly awake and feel alive and vibrant yet relaxed.

That's the state you want to create from, always, or as much as is possible. Your life will take on a new meaning and your creations will stick.

When you start your day before your life calls you, get in your chair or on your mat and give yourself a few minutes in contemplation or meditation (after your yoga practice is best).

Read some poetry that have spiritual value and ponder over it. Or read some scriptures and start imbibing in spiritual levity and love that is waiting for you to recognize it.

Before starting anything of importance, get the creative juices circulating through you so you can create at a high level and win the moment.

    Born and raised in France, I left my home country in my late teens pursuing a dream. I knew I would live in the USA and that it was my destiny.
    Indeed it was. I met my spiritual teacher in my early 30s and this is when everything changed for me.

    I now teach yoga and nutrition, offering Intuitive Health Coaching in private sessions. Working with clients from all walks of life.

    Naturally and very simply, I work with the body's deficiency to bring it back into balance giving it the nutrition it needs, with wholefoods, herbal remedies, vitamins, and other modalities. The body does the rest!
    Working with both men and women, who are desperate in regaining their health without medications.
    It works! I have done it over and over again.

    In my spare time I love to grow an organic vegetable and herb garden. Have raised happy free roaming chicken and I Love nature and everything that lives in it.
    I am an avid Light & Sound Practitioner which is where I draw all my strength from for all my yoga and nutrition classes.
