My private offerings consists of combinations of holistic approaches:
Vinyasa Yoga Flow
This smooth, intuitive, and fluid yoga practice is my favored type of yoga. I have practiced many other forms of yoga, and like to study other types of yoga from time to time to enrich my own experience as well as my style of teaching such as Anusara, Hatha, Power Flow, Ayengar. These many styles help enhance my ability to teach yoga and further my practice.
I have been teaching this style of yoga for about 11 years now and have developed different approaches to serve students that come to my classes.
Teaching Yoga Is a Special Gift in So Many Ways and I love what I do!
My trainings took me to the doorsteps of various teachers over the years. Too many to list. The following are the ones that had a profound impact on my yoga journey and on the path of discover to Self.
Kundalini Yoga was my introduction to yogic practices with the late Yogi Bhajan in Espanola, NM. I studied with numerous of his students and got certified by the 3HO with Ravi Singh Yoga in 1998.
Hatha Yoga, Yoga Sutras, Pranayama
While expanding my search with yogic practices in late 90s and early 2000 I met Dr. Tiwaryj from the Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute in Lonavla, India http://kdham.com with whom I learned the practice of Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, Cleansing Yogic techniques of the body, the 8 Limbs of Yoga, and the Yoga Sutras as taught by Patanjali.
Surat Shabd Yoga
Since 2011, I am fortunate to be under the tutelage of a living Master of Surat Shabda Yoga also called The Light & Sound Doctrines taught by Sri Gary Olsen, The current Living Master of the Light and Sound Doctrine in America http://www.masterpath.org
I draw from this spiritual practice all my strength and ability to teach. It is my platform to live my life, my dharma, and my vehicle to realize the Self.
I owe all my spiritual growth to this living Master and am eternally grateful for His Divine Essence.
I was Born and Raised in Angers, France. This Region was Named: The Garden of France by the Kings of France.
Anjou Region has a luscious vegetation with mild temperatures that promotes farming, growing fruits including Golden apples, Pear d'Anjou, and large varieties of beautiful flowers. Cointreau liqueur is also made in Angers.
Located in the heart of the beautiful Vallee de la Loire this region is surrounded by Medieval and Renaissance Castles built around 1100 through 1600.
I grew up partly in the suburbs of Angers also known as la douceur Angevine (the sweetness of Angers), in a small town called Sainte Gemmes sur Loire, along the river La Loire and spent all my summers in the countryside working at the family farm or playing at the beach La Baule.
"From Angers to Orleans is the largest of the richest regions in France with its landmarks. Throughout the region while following the river "La Loire", splendid castles intersperse the countryside, which in itself would owe a visit: villages, beautiful churches, reputable vineyards, green scenery, confer an added dimension to the Castles visits of La Loire. This is why the Val de Loire is a region recognized has UNESCO World Heritage."
