Meet Marie-Aude

I’m Marie, founder of Higher Altitude Yoga, and I help active women 50+ stay strong, mobile, and confident through mindful, alignment‑based yoga.

After decades of movement, outdoor adventure, and teaching, I’ve learned that the body changes ; but our spirit doesn’t. Many women reach their 50s and suddenly feel their balance slipping, their flexibility fading, or old injuries resurfacing. It’s frustrating, especially when you’ve always been active.

My approach blends:

  • alignment-focused yoga to correct patterns that cause pain

  • strength-building movement to support joints and aging muscles

  • balance training to restore confidence

  • gentle nervous system work to reduce stress and improve mobility

I believe aging is not a decline — it’s a transition. With the right kind of yoga, your body can feel stronger, steadier, and more capable than it has in years.

Each 70-minute session will gently guide you step by step through postures, breath-work, and mindful movement, supporting your growth and well-being. Whether you're new to yoga or deepening an existing practice, private sessions provide personalized attention and lasting transformation.
